The device has GPS technology on-board that locates and identifies over 50,000 stars, planets, and constellations. The red display contains LED backlighting, enabling you to easily read facts and historical information about an object. A speaker and headphones are included for listening to educational information provided in audio format. 

The USB port makes downloading updates to the database a snap. An integrated SD card slot allows you to have an audio format interactive tour of the skies when you insert one of the SkyTour SD multimedia cards (not included).
